What people are saying about the Fitness Challenge...

Bleu

The event was just what I needed to give myself the motivation to workout.  Even though I was never a swimmer, I found that I actually enjoy it, and am continuing to do so even after the event.  I hope you come back next year

because I will definitely be there.   You put on an awesome event.  Thanks!

Chris
Just wanted to say thanks to you and the team that put together the Seattle event.  Although I came up short on the run I still thought it was a great experience, well worth the trip from Atlanta, and just more motivation for me for the next one!

Taiji

It was by far the most fun I've had in a long time!  It really is fun to see just how hard people can push themselves, and to watch ordinary people find guts they never knew they had before was truly great.  Please come back to the Seattle area again soon!

Jason

The Navy Seal Challenge in Seattle was an awesome event!  The SEAL's were great and very motivating.  The training program got us ready to compete and we had a blast setting PR's for our swim, pull ups and push-ups.  My wife and I can wait to do this again!

Scott

Thanks Senior Chief blue team leader in Seattle for running our team from the pool to the event area its that extra atttention to detail that makes you the best. HOO YAH..!  I love it..I love it..I want more of it. Coming back for more.!!

Joseph

Saturday's experience is something that I will not soon forget. Getting out of bed on your day off and rolling with some Seals and the other 900 participants is a sight to be seen! Looking forward to next years rumble!

Jeff

My wife and I had a blast at the Navy SEAL fitness challenge in Seattle.

It was a lot of fun. We can't wait until next year! We'll be even more ready for it. Thanks, US Navy. And, thanks for the opportunity to meet some of our awesome service members!

Richard

I attended the Seattle challenge. It was great! I was pumped and ready to go.  I traveled 3 hours (one way) to attend and it was well worth it.  The Navy puts on a great competition. It was organized and kept you moving.  Great to be in the company of soldiers!

Elliot

I did the dallas fitness challenge and it was awesome the seals were awesome and they really modivated me i cant wait till  next year

Bryce Fluker

I participated in the May 2009 event in Dallas, TX and had a blast! I'm a Texas Tech triathlete and love seeing how far I can push my body. I was very impressed with the organization of the event and it brought back many memories for my Dad who was in the Navy during Vietnam. I look forward to participating and getting more medals and that blue shirt next time around. Go Red Team!!!

Mike

Thank you SEALS, Leapfrogs, SWCC, Volunteers, Spectators!! great set up in Dallas, from the events, awards process, etc. everything was perfect for a fitness challenge!! I survived and had an eye opener, ready to make a fitness lifestyle change so I can do this again in the future with significant improvement!

Mike

You all don't have to publish this one I just wanted to say adding the medals was a really great idea. My goal in Dallas was to improve enough to get the tan shirt but my run was still substandard. However I was suprised to find out I got a silver medal for pushups!!!! That made my day! thanks again and see you in Seattle!

Mike
I just want to thank all of the people involved in this event. Everyone was motivating and I had a great time. I've Now done Phoenix and Dallas and I'm planning on doing Seattle because I'm going to get that blue shirt one day!!!!
This event has really helped me focus on my training and I am getting more fit.
thanks again

Ryan
Great event!  Well above expectations!  Extremely well organized, challenging and tons of fun!!  Very Very Impressed!!!  Thanks yall for an excellent job,  I cant say enough about this event.

Cole
I'm 14, and this by far was the hardest I've pushed myself. Not only physically, but mentally too. This challenge impacted how I view myself and others, and I hope to do it again one day! My friend Mike and I will sure be there next year.

Ryan
The SEAL Fitness Challenge was awesome! The events were great, our leader was great, location, area, etc. were all spectacular (Dallas, 2009).
There was a ton of water and food around too.

Gene
Had a blast this afternoon. You guys put on a great event.  Definitely looking forward to you guys coming back to town.

Erick
Saturday was the best day ever: i had so much fun, i wish the day would have never ended its so much fun competing and hanging out with all the other competitors from different backgrounds ..i will do it again next year

Scott
I participated in the Dallas Texas event on May 9th 2009. What a great time. I'm grateful for the opportunity. Fitness has always been a part of my life. I know I can improve on my score. Thank you Seals for putting this on and thank you for your service to us and our country. Please come back to Dallas/Fort Worth

Denise
What a great event!!!  The Navy SEALS were terrific motivators and genuinely nice guys.  I hope that you come back to Dallas again soon!  I enjoyed the challenge.

Harold
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the Dallas/Ft Worth event. The Keller Town Center was a great venue and the event itself was run very professionally. Our Team Leader, SP1 Oaps (sp?) was a super guy and an impressive athlete in his own right. Except for a few more pushups and a faster run on my part we couldn't have asked for more.

Freddy
It was a great honor to participate with the elite team of the NAVY. I had a great experience and i would do it again.

TRUEFIT TRAINING TEAM
Our team got ready for San Antonio, traveled and loved it in Chicago and here we go for Dallas and all the future ones. We hope the NAVY SEAL CHALLENGE can keep up with us because we are not quitting until all of us have a BLUE shirt!  THANK YOU so much for opening the doors to all of us.

Brian G
I have always had respect for the physical training programs the SEALs as well as every other U.S. Military group must endure, I just never realized how intense it could be. To have had an opportunity to take this challenge was a special (and wonderfully exhausting) first hand glimpse of what it takes to become America's Elite. It was a blast! I completed the challenge in PHX and managed to limp away with a tan shirt. I will definitely be back next year for my blue! Thanks for protecting this great Nation, and for running a great event!

Ethan
This was the best time I have had in a long time, I have a new training buddy who are working towards next years event, and possibly the seal/sdv teams in our near future. I was impressed by how well not things were ran and everything, I had just alot of fun
I did pretty well I got a brown shirt, and I hope to get the blue shirt next year.
Hope to see you all next year in Phoenix.

Dominick
It was agreat challenge. I enjoyed it very much. But what was most important , was how organized it was. All the navy SEALS were very attentive , and helped as much as they could. But more than that I was so proud to be a American. See those saliors, made me think for sure America is well served by these MEN. I congraulate all the Volunteers, and the NAVY SEALS . GOD BLESS AMERICA> DOM IN AZ.

A.SUHA
I could not be more impressed with fantastic event that was put on, as well as the very impressive staff and SEAL team.  THANK YOU U.S NAVY SEALS! YOU GUYS BEST OF THE BEST IN THIS WORLD! PLEASE COME BACK TO AZ NEXT YEAR! WE MISS YOU ALREADY!

Brent
This event sparked a new level of motivation for fitness in my son.  We did it together (he beat me on overall score) and that made this event even more special.

Kevin:
I really enjoyed the SEAL Fitness challenge that was held in LA last year. I am prior Navy and I thought I had some idea what it took to be a SEAL, but boy was I wrong..this stuff is NOT from the movies. After the challenge (got a white shirt, looking to get a blue or tan next time) I was hooked and wanted to keep my fitness level to that standard so I increased my workout regiments and have never felt better!

Ben
The Chicago event was a blast. The SEALs and other staff were awesome. As someone who couldn't swim the year before, I was amazed that I made all the standards but the run. The training was great and the challengers was one of the best motivators I've had to get in shape. I hope you guys come back next year, so I can redeem myself on the run.

Joseph
A real wake up call. It's a lot harder than it sounds, but it's a huge motivation booster to do better next time. HOOYAH NAVY! It was a blast!

Natan
It was awesome!!! I was probably one of the best things that happened to me since the beggining of this year. This actually persuaded me to start running and excercising. I will definetely go to another event.

Carrie
It was better than Disney World!  Thank you!!

JILLIAN
The event was remarkable so thank you for that great challenge and opportunity! Thanks again for encouraging so many people to pursue or maintain a healthy lifestyle. You Navy SEALs are incredible and I truly admire your level of fitness and discipline. Wow!

Aaron
Atlanta was a first class event.

Karen
I had an awesome time at the seal fitness Challenge.  I loved the competitive side of the challenge and pushing myself to the limit

Thank you

Maia
It was very well run.  I appreciated the coaching and motivation.  The overall energy and vibe was great.  I have a real appreciation for the conditioning of the Navy SEALs.

Matt
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Atlanta Navy SEAL Fitness challenge. I could not be more impressed with fantastic event that was put on, as well as the very impressive staff and SEAL team. I hope that you can make it back to Atlanta again next year, so I can try to improve my PST score! Thank again for bringing such a wonderful event to my city!

Alan
The challenge just puts into perspective how elite these guys who become SEALS are. The fitness challenge is just minimal requirements to even be considered a candidate. The other training those guys have to endure is mind boggling and it should make everyone standup and respect those guys for everything they do for our country. I can' t wait for the next challenge to come to my area just to be able to see how I improve on my times.

Thanks for the challenge and all you warriors do for the USA.

Scott
This was a great experience. Brought my son and another swimmer from the USS swim team they are members of and I also coach. It was a great father son event as well as an excellent opportunity to test the abilities or our team's own fitness capabilities. We can't wait 'til next year!

Mike
This was a great experience. I wanna do SpecOps in two years and this definitely helped me gauge where I am and where I need to be. I'm qualified, I just need to get to competitive. Keep this going. Even if you guys charged $30 I'd still do it. Awesome experience!

BTB Fitness
Congrats to our competitors in the Navy SEAL fitness challenge on Saturday. Pictured above are most of them.  Note all the tan and blue shirts.  According to the MC the grouping that included the BTB crew earned more colored shirts than any other civilian grouping they have seen at any previous event.

Luis
Thanks for a great experience. I really enjoyed the challenge. My dream is to someday be a Navy Seal this challenge gave me the opportunity to feel a little closer.

Kevin
Just got my white t-shirt today in Atlanta.  It was COLD on that run.  Thank you for bringing this challenge to Atlanta!

When will the Navy publish the schedule for 2009?  I would like to make this an annual event. My goal is a BLUE t-shirt.

Neal
I participated last Saturday in Atlanta and didn't know what to expect.  It was a thrill to have a for real SEAL take us through the evolutions.  It seems to be a great recruiting tool.  It was more of an honor than a challenge.  If I weren't 52yrld, I'd sign up!  I gotta come back and try for that tan t-shirt!!

Please come back!

Rocky
I had a blast saturday in atlanta.  i have a baseline now and can start getting ready for march.
